Wow, it seems like I haven't posted any updates on my Newgrounds page since 2019 BC (Before Covid)
NG is a fine, fine artistic establishment & I am quite frankly ashamed of myself for not spending more time here!
Anyways, here's something I'm working on. It's a sequel of sorts to my other film Legend of Tomato. Other than that, I don't really know what it is yet, or if it will ever actually be finished. But, it's something to work on & right now that's all I need!
Until next time, keep your tomatoes fresh & your vegies out of your butt!

I'm so glad that there's been such a positive response to Legend of Tomato. I've gotten a lot of questions about whether I'll be making more & the answer is a definite YES. At this stage I have several ideas & I'm just trying to decide which direction to go with it. With that being said, I storyboarded this little beginning of a possible episode. I'll usually have shots in my mind that I'll quickly draw and time out, not knowing exactly what direction the story is going. I don't know if this will turn into the next short or not, but I just wanted to share it nonetheless! At any rate, if you're a fan, please stay posted here as I'll keep you updated on my progress as much as possible!

The short I've been working on for almost 3 years now is finally done! I started it with my friend Ted almost 3 years ago while we were running our own game company. I storyboarded the entire thing & rough animated most of the shots with Ted's help. Shit got a little crazy schedule-wise and the cartoon got sent to the back-burner for a long time.
However, I was determined not to let yet another cartoon project die (I have a digital graveyard full of unfinished cartoons) & so I started pecking away at cleaning up all the scenes about 9 months ago. I work full time and have a family, so free time is pretty much non-existent, but I made myself work on my shots every day, even if I could only draw like two lines. It eventually got done!
Thanks to everyone who's enjoying it, rating high & sharing it. I have a ton of ideas for Tomato that I can't wait to get started on.
Here's the first drawing I did of Tomato almost 3 years ago. I made him less lumpy, but all of his colors basically stayed the same. People keep saying he looks like something called Link? WTF is that? Some Anime?
